The Lifestyle Medicine Approach

I help people get to the root cause of chronic illness, because we all deserve to have long-lasting health.

THE PROBLEM

Every specialist looks at one thing. Nobody is looking at all of it.

The reason your doctor has not connected these dots is not that the connections do not exist. It is that the traditional medicine system was never designed to draw them. So you end up with incredibly detailed maps of individual territories, but fewer people stitching them into a coherent world.

Using deep knowledge of physiology and the framework of lifestyle medicine, we specialize in translating known science into coherent, personalized plans around sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress, and behavior, grounded in systems, not just biomarkers. Think less “find every possible imbalance” and more “identify the few levers that actually move health.”

THE METABOLIC HEALTH WAY

Lifestyle-related chronic diseases develop over years through patterns of how we eat, move, sleep, and respond to stress.

  • This is not about blame; it is about understanding the inputs and how our body responds. It means you are in the driving seat.

  • Medical care stabilizes what is happening in the body, but without changing the patterns that led there, the trajectory often stays the same.

  • From startups to seasoned brands, we partner with people who care about doing things right, and doing them well.

OUR APPROACH

The 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine

Lifestyle medicine is often presented as a set of separate pillars, but in practice these behaviors function as an integrated system. What you eat influences how you sleep. Sleep shapes stress resilience. Stress affects how your body regulates and responds. A disruption in one area rarely stays isolated, and a strength in one often reinforces the others. This is why the work is not about addressing a single behavior, but understanding how they interact.

Timing adds another layer. When these inputs occur shapes how they are processed and expressed. The same behavior can produce different outcomes depending on when it happens. Health is not just determined by what you do, but by how these inputs work together and align with your underlying biology over time.

Why I started
The Metabolic Health Lab

For nearly two decades, I worked in corporate risk management and disaster recovery, helping global companies identify vulnerabilities, build resilience, and prepare for the unexpected. Over time, constant restructuring and pressure left me burned out and disconnected.

Years earlier, I experienced profound personal loss, losing my best friend to metastasized cancer and my father to chronic disease within a year of each other. I watched them move through a medical system with compounding diagnoses and multiple prescriptions, without guidance on lifestyle changes.

I was left wondering how their outcomes might have been different. At the same time, I had always been an athlete, deeply attuned to how nutrition, training, and daily habits shape performance and long-term health. As the stress accumulated, those parallel experiences converged into a deeper question: what if I applied my understanding of systems and resilience to the human body?

That question marked a turning point, shaping the work I do today. I now focus on how stress, lifestyle, and physiology interact over time; how those patterns show up in our health. My philosophy is simple: true wellness starts within, andhealing begins by addressing root causes rather than masking symptoms, so the body can restore balance, adaptability, and its natural capacity to thrive.
